Sun Lim is a qualified solicitor and the Founder of TalkLawyers — a precision-driven legal-tech platform that seamlessly connects individuals with expert legal professionals through intelligent systems, delivering outcomes that are not only accurate, but genuinely transformative.
With a Juris Doctor from UNSW and a Master’s in Computer Engineering from Korea University, Sun brings a rare and powerful combination of legal insight, technical capability, and systems-level thinking.
Before establishing TalkLawyers, Sun led major transformation and IT infrastructure projects at Samsung Semiconductor and LG Electronics, working at the intersection of innovation, intelligent automation, and scalable systems design.
After transitioning into the legal profession, he applied that same systems-thinking framework to community-based practice — most notably through his work with Darwin Community Legal Service — where he advocated for underrepresented communities facing deeply entrenched systemic barriers.
